Laurent PepinBusiness and Partnerships Director at Genopole

Laurent Pépin got à Ph.D in Genetics from University Orsay (Paris-Saclay) . He was a researcher for 3 years at the laboratory of INRA in Jouy-en-Josas and CIRAD of Guadeloupe, then he did a 3-year post-doctoral stay at NIH, Bethesda, USA dedicated to molecular and cellular biology.

Laurent then joined a star-up in Clermont Ferrand. Then, he worked in various commercial and industrial companies first as scientific support for high throughput sequencing then in different position in sales, marketing and Business Development in molecular and haemostasis diagnostic and for Contract Research Organisations in preclinical and genomics services, always at an international position. Currently Laurent is working at Genopole , as Prospection and Partnerships Director. Genopole is the France leading Biocluster/biopark with 77 companies (with international companies i.e: illumina, New England Biolabs, Santen and more ),  18 academic laboratories and 26 technological platforms. Laurent is primarily involved in the development of this biocluster  and the contact point for any collaboration with Genopole.
