Kimberly M. Holizna has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and international business development with an emphasis on the aerospace sector. Connecting the needs of the manufacturers and various organizations focusing on manufacturing expertise as well as research and development globally. Resulting in a positive strategy as well as numerous partnerships and contacts and successful outcomes.

Holizna is the Director of Global Development & Programs at the Ohio Aerospace Institute, in Cleveland Ohio. Her role is to cultivate, establish and sustain relationships with targeted organizations nationally and globally. She also developed a process to counsel aerospace manufacturers on aspects of the industry, including, standards, compliance as well as global outreach. She has developed partnerships with various research Universities and various federal labs including Air Force, Navy and NASA. Matching technology needs with industry capabilities to help facilitate the development and commercialization of technology needs within the Aerospace & Defense Industry.

Holizna also consults as a Lecturer in Global Business Development at Kent State University College of Aeronautics & Engineering. She has connected research faculty with the technology needs of the industry and helped to create partnership with Universities globally. Educate staff, professors and students on the importance of global business, cultural, and diversity. She has also assisted with grant proposals for technology development as well as economic development expansion.

She has held various positions in global development, education, training and consulting since 1995, where she has facilitated a number of relationships and partnerships resulting in increased sales and growth opportunity for industry.

Holizna has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of State of New York, and an MBA in International Business from Baldwin Wallace University. 

She is a Board Member of the Federal District Export Council. Vice President of the International Business Network, as well as a co-founder of Women in International Trade. Holizna is a past recipient of the Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award for Success in Export Program.
